The two drawings below were done in Vondelpark in Amsterdam in March 2011.
I have to admit I spent more time here looking at art (Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum) than making it but this day was perfect for making art. As Amsterdam local gathered in this beautiful park on a lovely Spring day I took some time off sightseeing (our Amsterdam blog) to create something.
About the materials:
Medium: Acrylic Glazing Liquid (Satin), Golden Mediums
Pigments: Soil from the picnic spot by the pond, skin from canned fish and cheese from our feast
Surface: Unbleached Linen
Mounting: Mounted on canvas board using Neutral pH Adhesive, Lineco, Inc.
